Worker Loses Life in Fatal Workplace Accident in Orange County

Orange County, California – In a tragic incident on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, a worker lost his life in an accident within a trench at an excavation site in Tustin, according to authorities.

Around 10:30 a.m., firefighting teams swiftly responded to the 9800 block of Newport Avenue after receiving news of the incident.

Authorities revealed that the victim, a man whose name has not yet been disclosed, was approximately 15 feet underground when struck on the head by an object. Unfortunately, he was declared dead at the scene by the Orange County Fire Authority.
