Megan Thee Stallion Sued Over Allegations of Workplace Harassment

CALIFORNIA – Emilio Garcia, the former personal cameraman of renowned rapper Megan Thee Stallion, has filed a lawsuit in California. The lawsuit includes allegations of workplace harassment, creation of a hostile work environment, and other violations of state labor laws.

During a tour in Ibiza in June 2022, Garcia claims to have witnessed Megan Thee Stallion and another woman engaged in sexual acts in a vehicle. Unable to exit the moving car, Garcia felt embarrassed and offended by the situation.

Additionally, Garcia alleges that the rapper made derogatory comments about his weight, contributing to an unprofessional work environment. He also contends that he was underpaid for his work and misclassified as an independent contractor instead of an employee.

According to Garcia, being classified as an independent contractor deprived him of basic benefits such as health insurance and resulted in a decrease in his income, despite working long hours. Despite attempts to address his concerns, his employment relationship with Megan Thee Stallion and Roc Nation abruptly ended in 2023.

So far, neither Megan Thee Stallion nor Roc Nation have responded to the allegations brought forth by Emilio Garcia.

This lawsuit underscores the importance of ensuring a respectful and fair work environment for all workers, regardless of their industry or position.
